Walter Tull (1888–1918) defied racial prejudice in both professional football and the military. He became the first black outfield player in the English First Division, challenging stereotypes.
During World War I, Tull's courage made him the first black officer in the British Army. His remarkable journey from being orphaned at age 9, to breaking racial barriers continues to inspire generations, symbolising resilience and determination.

Bukayo Ayoyinka Temidayo Saka (born 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for Premier League club Arsenal and the England national team. Saka faced racist attacks following the Euro 2020 final, after missing a crucial penalty. However, Saka confronted racial abuse with resilience, standing tall against bigotry.
Since the final, he has become one of the world's best wingers. Much like Walter Tull, Saka overcame racial prejudice in British sports and has become a symbol of resilience and character, demonstrating that true champions rise above challenges.
